Timberton Estates is an upscale development of single-family homes in a rural part of Patton Township. It is surrounded by agricultural land and forest and is about three miles from University Park Airport and six miles from The Pennsylvania State University, Beaver Stadium and Bryce Jordan Center. Homes range in size from 2500sf to 5000sf. The development is in the State College Area School District.
The Torron Group owns the last three (3) remaining lots in Timberton Estates. Prospective homeowners may choose their own builders.
The development only has 20 residential building lots. Each lot is approximately 1/2-acre in size, but each lot backs up to common open space. Therefore, each lot feels like it is at least an acre in size. At the current time, there are three available lots. All lots will accommodate a walkout lower level. All of the lots are served with:
- On-lot Septic System and Well
- Cable TV
Some residents use propane gas for a supplemental heat source. All of the streets are maintained by Patton Township. Timberton has a homeowner's association that is responsible for:
- Cutting Grass
- Removing Snow
- Providing Basic Cable
The annual fee for this service is $2,000, payable in quarterly payments of $500 each.
